The Gospel of Judas - Author Unknown Part II
So the debate rages on, I read a bit about the reaction of Pastorsaround Grahamstown on the scrolls from the local newspaper "Grocott's Mail" and their responses are not quite what one would expect from learned men. The reasons for their rejecting the scrolls are not too good and some are not well informed either. They are rather rash in my opinion. I also do not believe that Jesus Christ conspired with Judas, if he did he would be a God of lies and not a God of Truth. There are more accounts that testify that Jesus is the Christ than there are about the turn of events that are described here and God has said that where there are two or more witnesses in my name, there will I be also. God works in mysterious ways and He imparts his secrets to his servants, but there should be more than one apostle or prophet to confess to this to make it true, and it should be an apostle who will Glorify God and not seek his own or the world. Other theories are that Jesus was alive on the cross and did not die, therefore no ressurection took place, he was merely taken away to recupperate, then how is it that "all nature sighed" and why is it that the signs and mysteries were not only seen in Jerusalem but an account of them is also given in the New World, and let us remeber that these people did not have the technology that we have to communicate to each other about these things. Anyway, still waiting for a response from Salt Lake, I was dissappointed to see the response that local Christian leaders, that were interviewed, had on this subject.
